Layer name characters resctriction issues

Suppose a sheet name is “My Data”, then you can not rename another sheet in the same book with a name like “MyData” if there is only space difference.

Suppose a sheet name is “Test”, then you can not rename it like “test” when double-click on the sheet tab to rename.
