Error bars disappears in Origin 2023b

Graph with error bar which showed fine in Origin 2023 disappears when the file is opened in Origin 2023b.

The issue only happens if the x axis tick labels is not using X column and clip data to frame is checked, which is the default setting in graph.

1. tick label type is Text from dataset but Dataset field is empty

2. X column is Text but tick label set to numeric

Workaround:

1. Set Clip data to Frame to Do not clip.

2. Or use the X column as tick labels.

LaTex Text Fails to Render in User’s File

In user’s project file, the Latex Equation in the y axis title doesn’t render and shows blank.

Workaround:

1. Restart Origin.

2. Start a new graph, and click the Insert Equation button.

3. Type in Latex Equation and click OK to insert.

4. Then open user’s project file.
