Differentiate Gadget improved

  1. Differentiate Gadget does not work properly if there is more than one plot in graph. Broken since Origin 2023

  2. The derivative graphs on the top layer of output graph does not match symbol color, shape or line style and width, etc. Broken since Origin 2016.

Only the selected plot is highlighted for Cluster Gadget

If Cluster Gadgets with multiple plot, select or deselect plot in Data menu, ROI always color all plots

Gadget failed to show complete GUI for old project

  1. Playing gadgets like Integration on plot, make sure ROI shows and save it.

  2. Open the saved projects and double click ROI to show the Integration dialog

  3. Change Mode as another one in Baseline tab -->GUI updated

  4. Close it and reopen the project, double click ROI and change Mode again ==>GUI fails to update

Fixed in Origin2024b.

When Differentiate Gadget works on two or more plots, move the ROI, the derivative graph does not changes X range.

BTW, fixed the plot format in preview fails to keep the source

Fixed Excel Connector Comments Label Row Issue

When set Comment From to <none> and Comment To is not <none>, then the data rows before Comment To are not imported.

Fixed in Origin 2024b.

When Comment From is set to <none>, then auto set Comment To to <none>.

Connector now used for all D&D files when Use Connector is active on Select Filter dialog

1.Save two import filters for dat file.

2.Drag and drop multiple dat files into workspace.

3.Select Use Connector on the pop-up Select Filter dialog.

==>Show up Select Filter again.

Note: this issue existed since Origin 2022b. Fixed in Origin 2024b.

Origin Connector wrongly overwrote user defined label rows

Origin Connector connects to Origin project file with query, will import wrong user defined label rows.

Fixed in Origin 2024b.

Note: This problem exists at least since Origin 2020.

Contents between quotes no longer treated as numeric

When importing data with comma inside numeric, like "10,10,10,10,10","600031,600065,600031,600065,600031"…

==>The commas are removed, and imported as numeric.

Fixed in Origin 2024b. Now this kind of data is imported as text.

Note: For the thousand separator quotes, like "305,305,305,305,305", if don’t want to remove the thousand separator quotes, need to set “@STQ=1”.

Fixed crash when importing multiple files with long file path

Importing multiple files with file paths greater than 260 characters no longer causes a crash using the Connect Multiple Files dialog.

Fixed in Origin 2024b.

Matlab Connector changed to be embedded matrix after reimport

When use MATLAB/HDF/NetCDF connectors to import multiple variables with same dimensions into Worksheet, and then reimport.

==>It will be reimported into embedded matrix.
