ORG-33886

3D Surface shows frayed borders

There is an example for a 3D surface plot based on a matrix.
It use "opacity" for the color surface. The lower border of the surface looks "frayed"

Fixed in Origin2027.

ORG-16528

Turn off speed mode for 3D graph ploted by large dataset, Origin freezes

1. Import large dataset

2. Set Column C to Z

3. Highlight Column A to C and plot 3D Scatter graph

4. Turn off the Speed Mode
   ==> Origin becomes very slowly, and easy to freeze.

Improved the speed in Origin2027.

ORG-34099

Hide Missing Value Label for Heatmap

1. Plot a heatmap with worksheet which has missing value

2. Go to Plot Details dialog, go to Label tab and check Enable

==> display missing value label “--“

Fixed in Origin2027.

Message in NLFit does not show in order

1. Do NLFit on any data, active Message tab, click 1 Iteration button multiple times

2. Mouse click into the Message tab, for example place the cursor before (1), click Chi-Square button.

==> The message was inserted before (1)

Statistics table in report sheet shows gibberish string when set recalculate mode to None

1. Do a linear fit with data.

2. Active report sheet, set recalculate mode to be None.

3. Check the Statistics table.
   ==> The column header shows operation string like “?$OP:A=1”.

The issue exists in Origin2026b, fixed in Origin2027

Fails to keep same color after Arrange Plots of Same Type in One Graph

Case1:

1. For any multiple Y data, open Linear Fit, go to Output tab, clear “Arrange Plots of Same Type in One Graph” and “Arrange Residual Plots in One Graph” checkboxes under Graph branch

2. Click OK, in Report, Click triangular button for Fitted Curves Plot, click Arrange Plots of Same Type in One Graph

3. Check Histogram of Residual Plot
   ==> The 1st plot is gray and others are blue

Case2:

1. For any multiple Y data, open Linear Fit dialog, go to Output tab, check “Arrange Plots of Same Type in One Graph” and “Arrange Residual Plots in One Graph” checkboxes under Graph branch

2. Click OK and change parameters, uncheck “Arrange Residual Plots in One Graph”, click OK.
   ==> runtime error on wksOperation.c(12638).

Both fixed in Origin2027

ORG-34195

Weight Appears in Title of Fitted Curves Plot even though there is 'No Weighting' is selected

1. Linear fit on any data, in Fit Control tab, choose Error as Weight is No Weighting

2. OK and check page title of Fitted Curves Plot

==> Says with Weight: C

Now if choose No Weighting, above will not show

Delete output sheet issue on Hypothesis Testing tools

For Hypothesis Testing tools, deleting partial output sheet and turn off sheets in change paramters not works.

Issued existed since Origin 2017. Fixed in Origin 2027.

Report graph recalculation issues about hypothesis testing tools

For One-Sample t-Test and One-Sample Variance Test tool, report graph recalculation not works fine if input is the whole sheet.

Issued existed since Origin 2026b. Fixed in Origin 2027

Custom Toolbar Issues

1. Start Origin with default GUI, dock custom toolbar

2. Switch to Compact GUI

==> Custom toolbar is floating in top-left corner.

Fixed in Origin2027, now if custom toolbar in Default GUI, will not show in Compact GUI

ORG-31476

Fail to switch GUI mode after changing User File Folder (UFF) without Copy All Files From Original

1. Install origin with statistics mode checked, start origin.

2. Select Preferences >GUI Mode>Default.

3. Close Origin, delete UFF, start origin, select Preferences >GUI Mode.

==>no menu item shown, user fail to switch mode.

Fixed in Origin2027

ORG-34123

Button to toggle between plot and object view missing when OM is floating

Make a graph active and pull OM out to be floating

The buttons on title bar to toggle between object vs plot view, and add notes etc are missing.

Fixed in Origin2027.
