ORG-30441

Variability Chart failed to create plot

New plot type in 2025. But it failed to create graph for some specific data.

ORG-30521

The mean lines show incorrect in Variability Chart dialog preview panel

1. Open Plot : Statistical: Variability Chart dialog

2. In the dialog, check Auto Preview and select Column as Data and Factors.

3. Go to Quantities tab, check Show Mean Lines for Factors ---> The Red lines show in the preview graph

4. Uncheck Show Grand Mean Line ==> The Red lines hide in the preview graph

5. Check Show Grand Mean Line

   ==> The Red lines show again

ORG-30628

Skip Points Not Available for Polar Chart

Origin 2025 SR0 moved the skip points option under Display tab in 2025. But graph templates like Polar/Ternary don't have Display tab, so the skip point option is gone for these graph type.

Origin hangs when select many columns

New a workbook with 60,000 columns, then highlight wole worksheet.
==> Origin hangs.

Edit existing LaTeX equation in Worksheet cell Issue

1. Click Long name of Column A and click Insert LaTeX mini toolbar button

2. Type any Latex text, then OK.→ Latex notation is added to the cell.

3. Click the Cell again, and choose Insert Latex in mini toolbar again.
   ==> The Latex dialog is empty.

Highlight row header to insert row failed if there is a SCV recalculation

1. In new worksheet, fill col(A) with row numbers

2. In F(x) of Column B, enter A*2

3. Right click a row and select Insert Row from context menu
   ==>Warning message, row is not inserted.

Table and Percentile problem when used together

1. Fill column A B with random data,

2. Add a column C and set column value with table(B,A,percentile(B,{10,20}))
   ==> result is wrong.

Dashed Line in Bracket Fail Export Properly

1. New an empty graph. Click the left toolbar Add Asterisk Bracket tool.

2. Change the bracket line to be dashed.

3. Export Graph

==> No matter which image type, the dashed line displays as solid line.

Crash when duplicate PA operation with use existing baseline mode on a graph with slicer

New bug with the new Data Slicer feature in Origin 2025

1. In a graph with slicer on.

2. Choose Analysis: Peaks and Baseline: Peak Analyzer…

3. Set Goal as Integrate Peaks or Find Peaks

4. Set Baseline mode: Use Existing Dataset to pick an existing data in graph.

5. Click Finish.

6. Click Duplicate button to duplicate the graph window.

7. Choose Yes to duplicate operation as well==> Origin crashes.

8. Fixed in Origin 2025 SR1.

ORG-29303

Quick Fit Gadget supports Fix Parameters

1. Import Multiple Peaks.dat under under samples\curve fitting\

2. Plot a line graph and choose Gadget → Quick Fit → Peak - Gauss to add quick fit agdget.

3. Move the ROI to cover the first peak.
   ==> Doesn’t fit well. A horizonal blue line shows.

Fixed in Origin 2025 SR1, also improve the Parameters Initialization code for User-Defind function

Operation from Redo stack fails to recalculate

1. New a workbook and fill it with random number.

2. Highlight column B, select menu Analysis: Mathematics: Integrate to open dialog.

3. Click OK.

4. Undo.

5. Redo.

6. Modify data in column B, recalculate.
   ==> Operation is pending.

Origin crashes when duplicating slicer graph with Find X from Y operation

1. New a graph with slicer then do Linear Fit or Nonlinear Fit.

2. Make sure Find X from Y or Find Y from X is output.

3. Duplicate the graph with slicer and click OK to duplicate operation.

==> Origin crashes.

Origin crashes if undo duplicating operation

1. New a graph with slicer then run any analysis tool, for example Smooth.

2. Duplicate the graph with slicer and click OK to duplicate operation.

3. Choose Edit: Undo main menu.

==> Origin crashes.
