Further correction: After closing the embedded graph, the Origin9_64.exe instance is removed. However when then saving the PowerPoint file, new Origin9_64.exe instances are started for each graph that was modified and not closed when finished saving. I do not recall this problem with Origin 9.0 (aka not Origin 9.1)
Hi there,
Thanks for your comments. Just a reminder that any thought regarding old version should come to Origin User Forum: http://www.originlab.com/forum/default.asp

While attempting to integrate using the gadget and a Baseline (previously made using the peak analyser), the gadget return only a yellow box It does not return any values for integration although integration using a constant value is still working Reliability of the gadget tool was an issue in SR0 (only worked about 1/5 times) and now is just now working
Hi there,
Thanks for the comments.
The yellow box is called Region of Interest (ROI), which is movable and re-sizable to select peak area for integration. For more detailed options, please refer to this video tutorial: Integrate Gadget.
Integrate Gadget should work well as Peak Analyzer. Maybe you can send your data to tech@originlab.com we can test with.
Thank you.
I am having the same issue with the integrate gadget only returning with a yellow box (the ROI) but no peak area values are shown. I am integrating curves with a created baseline (more than a hundred curves) and this only happens for a few of them, despite being almost the same curve every time. For the rest of the curves the integrate gadget works perfectly fine, giving me the peak areas within the ROI. Anyone have a possible reason and solution to this?
Opening an embedded graph (which creates an instance of Origin9_64.exe on my machine) in MS PowerPoint 2007 and the closing it does not close the Origin9_64.exe instance until the PowerPoint application closes. Opening and closing many embedded graphs therefore creates many instances of Origin9_64.exe that cause problems when the max number of instances is reached (I believe this is 9).
