When you place the cursor on input and output data nodes in dialogs, a tooltip will display showing hierarchical information of the current selection. This also makes it easier to view the ranges without having to expand the node in case of multiple range input.
Useful to see where data will be output too as well.
This also shows on Left Panel of Plot Details dialog.
